Car Hire and Road Travel


Driving to the port from the north, take the A487 from Cardigan. If you are coming from the south, take the A40 from Haverford West. The town of Fishguard is situated at the A40 and A487 junction. From this junction, the route to the ferry port, which is located in Goodwick, is well signposted.

Hire car companies can be found in the town, which is just a couple of miles from the ferry port. A number of reputable companies offer car hire services in Fishguard; however, booking online is easier and a great way of finding all the best deals.
